Water Efficient Cleaning Machines - Potential Tax Relief

With the shortage of Water hitting headlines by the day, it is interesting to note that member Companies of I.C.M.M.A. (Industrial Cleaning Machine Manufacturers Association), over several years, have been developing scrubber/drier and steam cleaning machines that are increasingly efficient in their use of both water and detergent.

Not only is less clean water required to achieve optimum cleaning results, but the continuing development of highly effective detergent agents currently used in machines supplied by I.C.M.M.A. members has led to the waste water discharge from these machines being much easier to recycle than in years past.

Indeed, steam cleaning machines use negligible amounts of water and are rarely used in combination with detergent.

So effective has the development of I.C.M.M.A. member machines become, that opportunities are arising in the near future to negotiate the listing of some Members machines onto the Water Technology listing endorsed by Government.

This listing, once achieved, will allow any client purchasing a machine so listed to claim Capital Relief taxation on the purchase price.

It is not often that Inland Revenue provide such an opportunity for reduction of Taxation, but this is such an opportunity for clients who carefully select the latest range of scrubber/driers and steam cleaning machines from I.C.M.M.A. members.

Whilst the listing will take several months to negotiate, these sophisticated machines are currently available to the discerning client.

22nd June.2006.
